The Tallahassee Urban League will hold its Annual Dinner on Friday evening, August 14, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center at Florida State University. This is the Urban League’s major fundraiser for the year. The Board of Directors seek support to continue to provide funding to support the Housing Rehabilitation program for low-to-moderate income individuals, Housing Counseling services for those facing foreclosure and eviction, as well as fair housing issues. Funding will also provide assistance to the Black-on-Black Crime Prevention Program, Youth Crime Prevention, Victim Witness Services, Employment Services, Social Responsibility, and Character Building. The Urban League will implement the Taylor House Museum Education Project in 2015-2016. The Museum will develop of an educational Florida African American Encyclopedia and an interactive website which will serve as the authoritative reference for primary and secondary school teachers. It will also contribute to African American History statewide projects and will document the diversity of all the citizens of the state, and the preservation of historic African American communities and their vital roles in building this nation.

  • One (1) table of eight (8) VIP priority reserve seating

  • Name listed in the Annual Dinner Program

Patron Benefactors   $1,200

Benefits:

 

  • One (1) table of eight (8) VIP priority reserve seating

  • Name listed in the Annual Dinner Program

 

Open Seating  $150.00 each and $125.00 each

Benefits:

 

  • $150.00 VIP priority seating in priority #4

  • $125.00 opening seating and reserve seating for a group of eight (8) persons who purchase tickets together prior to the dinner.
